Widewalls is a Grade II listed property and parts date back to the 16th century. It is surrounded by splendid granite walls which have stood the test of time, and Cornish Wildflower hedges.
The origin to the name Widewalls is probably reference to some prehistoric stone building or the like on the moor.
At Widewalls Barn the comfortable furnishings are country cottage style, consisting mainly of traditional antique pine. The atmospheric lounge / diner has ample seating arranged cosily around a multi-fuel stove and the TV and Video.
In addition, the barn has full central heating and a well-equipped kitchen that offers microwave, dishwasher and washing machine / dryer.
Electricity, linen and towels are included. A cot and high chair are available on request. The barn is available for bookings all year round and for short breaks out of season. Please note that we are non smoking. One small, well behaved dog is welcome at extra cost, but sorry no puppies.
Free range eggs are available most of the time.
Please note that Widewalls Barn is non-smoking.
